The MeT has further forecast light to moderate rain and thundershowers at scattered to many places from August 29 to 31. Brief intense showers are likely during the early morning and afternoon hours, mainly in the Jammu division.
The weather department has cautioned that brief intense heavy showers over localised areas could trigger flash floods, mudslides and landslides, particularly in vulnerable areas.
