Hyderabad: The Indian School of Business (ISB) will award 250 scholarships every year across its flagship Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) and PGP in Management for Young Leaders (PGP YL), as part of a set of institutional initiatives announced to mark its 25th anniversary.
Under the ISB25 Scholars Programme, students will receive tuition-fee waivers of 100%, 50%, 30% or 25% based on merit and need, the business school said.
ISB will also establish the India Research Commons, a national platform designed to provide scholars across India with access to curated datasets, research tools, methodological resources and AI-enabled research infrastructure.
The school will launch a national faculty development programme alongside the research platform, through which it plans to share its pedagogy, classroom practices and technology-enabled teaching methods with management institutions across the country.
The initiatives form part of ISB@25, marking 25 years since the school’s establishment in 2001.
“ISB@25 is an opportunity not only to celebrate our journey, but to define our commitment for the future,” said Professor Madan Pillutla, Dean, Indian School of Business. “Our promise is to make excellence more accessible, knowledge more shareable, and research more usable for institutions and scholars across the country.”
The scholarship programme will cover students in both the PGP and PGP YL. ISB said the initiative is intended to widen access to management education for high-potential candidates from different economic, geographic and professional backgrounds.
The research and faculty initiatives are aimed at extending ISB’s academic resources beyond its own campuses and strengthening research and teaching capabilities across India’s management education ecosystem.
ISB launched the PGP YL in 2025, admitting an inaugural cohort of 130 students, with more than a third receiving tuition waivers, according to the school.
The institution also launched ISB Discover in 2025, a digital platform that makes faculty research available in more accessible formats for policymakers, business leaders and the public.
ISB said it has also recently reviewed its flagship PGP curriculum following consultations with alumni, recruiters and industry. The revised approach includes greater flexibility, customised learning pathways and stronger alignment with changes in the nature of work.
Founded in 2001, ISB has campuses in Hyderabad and Mohali and more than 20,000 alumni across 65 countries. The school holds AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS accreditation.
The announcements come as ISB marks its silver jubilee, with the school positioning the next phase of its development around expanding access to management education, strengthening research and sharing its academic capabilities with institutions across India.
