Patna: Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) is emerging as a significant field of opportunity for law graduates, newly appointed chief justice of the Patna high court Justice V Kameswar Rao said at the valedictory ceremony of the XVII CNLU National Parliamentary Debate at Chanakya National Law University (CNLU) on Sunday.Advising law students to gain knowledge of IPR, Rao assured CNLU of his continued support and cooperation.The three-day debate, organised by CNLU’s academic and debating committee, brought together students from institutions across the country. Held in the Asian Parliamentary format, it tested research, argumentation, rebuttal and oratory skills.The tournament carried a prize purse of Rs 2.64 lakh. “Frandship”, comprising students from Delhi, Mumbai and other institutions, won the Open Category, while “Char Diwari” of Army Institute of Law, Mohali, won the Novice Category. Aniket Patra was adjudged Best Speaker.
