The Punjab Kings (PBKS) emerged as the runners up in 2025 after a spell of dismal performance for several seasons in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Till date, PBKS has qualified into semifinal round once, and qualified as runners up twice in the IPL history. Despite such, the IPL team is recognised for setting high target rates, majorly due to its explosive batting order.

Punjab Kings unleashed their best-ever IPL performance in 2025, finishing runners-up after a tough fight against Royal Challengers Bengaluru. With the landmark performance raising expectation, fans now hope that PBKS will inch further and lift its maiden IPL trophy in 2026.
