Srinagar, Feb 16: National Conference (NC) Provincial President Showkat Mir on Monday chaired a meeting of the party functionaries of Ganderbal at the party headquarters here to review the organisational functioning at the grassroots level and assess the party’s outreach initiatives in the district.
During the interaction, Mir conducted a comprehensive review of the working of the Ganderbal unit, evaluating its ongoing activities, public contact programmes, and overall engagement with the people, the party said in a statement issued here.
Calling for greater coordination, Mir directed the local unit leaders to work in tandem with each other and with the party’s senior leadership to achieve organisational objectives. He urged them to maintain regular interaction with workers at the grassroots level and to expand the party’s base through constructive engagement.
The NC leader assured the functionaries that the leadership remains steadfast in its resolve to safeguard the interests of the people and to work tirelessly for their progress and prosperity.
Among others present during the meeting were Vice President District Muhammad Maqbool Ganaie, Vice President Abdul Razzaq Wani, District Secretary Muhammad Yasin Shah, Joint Secretary Tahir Ahmad Dar, Organiser Ghulam Muhammad Dar, Block President, and office bearers.
