Varanasi: Municipal Commissioner Himanshu Nagpal held a meeting of officials at the smart city meeting hall on Thursday to ensure better street lighting arrangements in all municipal wards ahead of Navratri and other festivals. The official ordered an immediate survey of the street lights installed in all wards of the city, and also issued directions to repair non-functional and damaged lights on a priority basis. He also instructed the installation of additional lights at places where lighting is inadequate. The concerned engineers have been directed to complete all the work in a time-bound banner.
