General Seth also expressed gratitude to Defence Minister Rajnath Singh for attending the commemorative event, describing his presence as a major source of encouragement for the armed forces. He said every visit to the Kargil War Memorial fills soldiers with renewed energy, pride, and determination to uphold the legacy of those who made the supreme sacrifice during Operation Vijay.
Remembering the heroes of Kargil, the Army Chief reiterated that their bravery, patriotism, and devotion to duty would continue to inspire future generations of soldiers, and that the legacy of the martyrs would remain the guiding force behind the Indian Army’s unwavering commitment to protecting the country’s unity, integrity, and national interests.
