Mysuru: “India has no shortage of talent; what we lack are opportunities. If given the right platform, Indians can lead the world,” said Dr BS Ajaikumar, founder and chairperson of International Human Development and Upliftment Academy (IHDUA). He was recalling his experience of serving in the United States for nearly two decades.Speaking at the 35th anniversary celebrations of IHDUA at Gundlupet, Ajaikumar stressed the importance of creating opportunities for Indian youth.A job recruitment drive for various posts was also conducted on the occasion. He also distributed financial assistance worth Rs 27 lakh to nine employees of IHDUA working in Gundlupet. He emphasised that self-help groups could strengthen women economically and reduce dependence on high-interest loans. Dr Ajaikumar also underlined the need for employment generation, skill training and agro-based industries in rural areas. He urged youth to adopt modern technologies, including artificial intelligence, and highlighted opportunities in finance, bookkeeping and accounting sectors.Madhu N, programme head, IHDUA, briefed about job recruitment and various posts for which recruitment will be made.
