What a win for West Indies. They bundled India out for 223 as they won the game by 24 runs. They have thus levelled the series 2-2, with the final match serving as a series decided at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

India have now lost half their side, and they need 116 to win from the last 8 overs with Tilak Varma and Nitish Kumar Reddy in the middle. India now need to pull off a miraculous recovery from here.

India lose their fourth wicket, as the target is slipping further and further away. Abhishek Sharma departs for an uncharacteristic 29-run innings from 24 deliveries. Gudakesh Motie takes a wicket in just the third ball of his spell.

Sanju Samson has powered India to a good start to the innings, especially after seeing off the first few deliveries. Shai Hope scores his second century of the series, as he continues his golden run of form in the tour of India. This is Hope’s 3rd T20I century of his career, as he becomes the leading century maker for West Indies surpassing the legendary Chris Gayle. West Indies have put up 247 on the board. India need 248 to win.

After going quiet for the first few deliveries, Sherfane Rutherford shifted gears, as he too joins Shai Hope in hammering the Indian bowlers. The duo have now put on another 50-run stand for the fouth wicket. West Indies have also crossed 200, and with 3 overs remaining, a score of 250+ is still in sight.

Shai Hope is now the fourth captain in history to hit three 50+ scores in a bilateral T20I series, after Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav and Sahibzada Farhan. He is the first away captain to do so against India. This is now Hope’s fifth 50+ score in the tour, including two hundreds in ODIs and three fifties in T20Is.
