Mangaluru: The Indian Motorsport Club (IMSC) announced the IMSC Off Road Trophy 2026, a national-level off-road competition set to take place at Oddoor Farm, Ganjimutt, on March 28 and 29.This event was particularly significant for the IMSC, as it marked both 25 years in motorsport and the hosting of its 400th event, said its president, Musa Sheri,f on Monday. “It is a testament to IMSC’s enduring legacy and contribution to the sport in India,” he said.The IMSC Off Road Trophy 2026 will feature a diverse grid of 11 categories with competitions spread across two days. Categories to be held on day 1 include Ladies, Junior, Masters, Jimmy, Thar 2020, SUV, Stock Diesel, and Stock Petrol. On day 2, Modified Petrol, Modified Diesel, and Open Class categories will be held. Participants will battle for cash prizes, trophies, and goodies worth Rs 15 lakh, Sherif said.Oddoor Farm provides the perfect terrain to test the mettle of both machine and driver. A team of over 50 experienced motorsport officials is geared up to deliver a safe, professionally managed event that lives up to IMSC’s 25-year legacy, he said.Ashwin Naik, race director, said the club anticipates participation of over 400 competitors and a spectator turnout of over 5,000 motorsport enthusiasts.
