Varanasi: Assistant professor of physiotherapy, department of orthopaedics, Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Dr Shubhrendu Shekhar Pandey, was nominated to a high-level national expert committee by govt of India. According to BHU spokesperson, the expert group was formed under the National Programme for Health Care of the Elderly (NPHCE), ministry of health and family welfare, to develop a training module and facilitator guide for physiotherapists and rehabilitation workers serving elderly populations.
