Panaji: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecast isolated rainfall and thundershowers across Goa on March 18 and 19, bringing a brief change in weather conditions.According to the forecast issued by the IMD, partly cloudy skies accompanied by thundershowers or light rain were likely to prevail over both North Goa and South Goa districts during this period. However, weather conditions on March 17 were expected to remain dry, with partly cloudy skies across the state. Similarly, from March 20 to March 22, dry weather along with partly cloudy skies was likely to prevail across Goa.Observational data recorded on March 16 at the observatories in Panaji and Mormugao indicated that temperatures remained close to normal levels.In Panaji, the maximum temperature recorded was 33°C, while the minimum temperature was 23.5°C. Relative humidity was recorded at 65%.At Mormugao, the maximum temperature reached 33.4°C, while the minimum temperature was 24.6°C. Relative humidity stood at 81%.
