Bhubaneswar: India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Tuesday issued an orange warning of heavy to very heavy rain in three districts — Angul, Keonjhar and Sundergarh — and a yellow alert of heavy rainfall in 18 more, mostly in coastal pockets, including Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Cuttack, Puri and Khurda, during the next two days under the influence of a fresh low-pressure area, expected to form over Bay of Bengal on Wednesday.There is an orange warning of very heavy rainfall in three coastal districts of Bhadrak, Kendrapada and Jagatsinghpur, and heavy rain in some more districts till Wednesday morning, under the influence of an upper cyclonic circulation.The IMD rainfall report in the morning showed Kujang in Jagatsinghpur district as recording the highest 113mm rain during the last 24 hours. The rainfall report in the evening revealed Malkangiri received 18.4mm rain during the day.,
