Thane: A store manager of a prominent pizza outlet was held on Tuesday after the flying squad of the Rationing Office, accompanied by local police, busted an illegal gas cylinder racket at a warehouse in on Chitalasar Manpada Road in Thane.Acting on specific intelligence, officials inspected a storage facility and discovered 138 LPG cylinders concealed on the premises — despite the outlet operating exclusively on electric ovens, raising suspicion. The haul comprised 53 filled cylinders of varying capacities ranging from 15 kg to 21 kg, along with 85 empty cylinders.
