Varanasi: In a significant step towards technology-driven rural transformation, agri-tech and climate-tech startup eVerseAI has received financial and institutional support of around Rs40 lakh from the I-DAPT Hub Foundation of IIT-BHU. The support has been extended under the govt of India’s National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems implemented by the department of Science and Technology.The initiative aims to strengthen innovation ecosystems and promote technology adoption in agriculture and allied sectors, particularly in eastern Uttar Pradesh. Districts such as Gorakhpur, Azamgarh and Jaunpur depend heavily on dairy farming as a vital component of the rural economy, where milk production serves as an important supplementary income source for small and marginal farmers. Prof R S Singh, director of the I-DAPT Hub Foundation, said with institutional mentorship, national mission backing and industry collaborations, the startup is emerging as a model for technology-enabled dairy transformation in eastern UP.
