Bhubaneswar: Odisha Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (Idco) has initiated steps to develop two new industrial parks in Cuttack and Rayagada districts under Centre’s Bharat Audyogik Vikas Yojana (Bhavya), a flagship scheme aimed at creating world-class manufacturing hubs across the country. Idco has floated a tender for the preparation of detailed project reports for the proposed parks at Mundali-Nuagaon in Cuttack and Banapur-Bijabanga near Murtiguda in Rayagada. The projects are expected to bring over 860 acres into the state’s industrial development pipeline.Officials said the proposed parks are being envisioned as modern industrial ecosystems capable of attracting investment, generating employment and strengthening Odisha’s manufacturing base.
