Vadodara: The Baroda Chapter of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) has bagged two national honours at the National Chapters’ Meet 2026 held in Siliguri, West Bengal.The chapter received the “Best Chapter Award – ICMAI 2026” for its overall contribution to professional excellence and institutional development. It also won the award for conducting the highest number of Career Awareness Programmes in 2025-26 under Category B at the national level.The meet was organised by ICMAI, a statutory body under the Union ministry of corporate affairs. Senior office-bearers of the institute presented the awards and certificates to representatives of the Baroda Chapter during the event.Baroda Chapter chairperson CMA Amruta Vyas said the recognition reflected the collective efforts of the chapter’s members, students and office-bearers. She added that the award for career awareness initiatives underscored the chapter’s emphasis on student guidance and creating awareness about opportunities in the finance and accounting profession.The chapter said it plans to further expand its career guidance programmes for students and strengthen its corporate training initiatives in the coming years.
