The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has extended the registration deadline for the 2025 recruitment of Probationary Officers (PO) and Specialist Officers (SO). Candidates interested in applying for these posts can now submit their applications through the official website, ibps.in, until July 28.This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 6,215 vacancies, with 5,208 posts for Probationary Officers and 1,007 for Specialist Officers.To apply for PO roles, candidates must hold a graduation degree in any discipline from a university recognised by the Government of India or possess an equivalent qualification approved by the Central Government. The age criteria for PO positions is set between 20 and 30 years as of July 1, 2025. For Specialist Officer roles, educational qualifications vary depending on the post applied for. However, the age requirement remains the same.
