Chennai: Hyundai Motor launched its leadership development initiative, in partnership with the Indian Institute of Management Tiruchirappalli (IIM-T) and Management Development Institute (MDI) Gurgaon. It aims to nurture and upskill potential high-performing employees for future leadership roles and improve employee retention.Called ‘ARISE Core Talent’, the program has officially commenced with 100 employees engaged in phase 1 across the campuses of IIM Tiruchirappalli and MDI Gurgaon. Structured as a two-phased initiative, the second phase is planned for rollout in the third half of 2026 fiscal.Anchored in a three-pronged pedagogy of education, exposure, and experience, it offers a mix of theoretical knowledge and practical insights. The curriculum includes leadership labs, business case simulations, and cross-functional problem-solving sessions and group discussions. It is designed to fast track leadership readiness by combining academic excellence with business aligned learning experiences, the company said in a release.Commenting on the launch Natwar Kadel, vertical head of human resources at HMIL said, “We are launching the program as part of our long-term investment in leadership development. It is a commitment to nurture talent with future-ready capabilities, strategic thinking, and a growth mindset.”
