HYDERABAD: The Crime Team, Central Crime Station (CCS), Hyderabad Food Adulteration Surveillance Team (H-FAST) Hyderabad on Tuesday arrested two persons for allegedly supplying beef in place of mutton to several hotels in the city, police said.The accused have been identified as Mohd Osman, owner of Osman Meat Shop in Mallepally, and Mohd Jahangir Pasha, a worker at Ayan Beef Shop.According to Hyderabad Police, the duo was allegedly supplying beef as mutton to hotels.Officials said 50 kg of meat, allegedly mixed with beef, was seized during the operation.The accused were handed over to Habeeb Nagar Police Station.A case has been registered and further investigation is underway, police said.(With inputs from ANI)
