Jalandhar: Jalandhar Rural Police have arrested the husband and mother-in-law of college lecturer Neha Bassi, who allegedly died after being forced to consume toilet cleaner. The couple’s daughter has also been recovered.Police arrested Umang Bassi and his mother Kusum Bassi from Ujjain. Kartarpur DSP Narinder Singh Aujla said the two were being brought to Jalandhar.Police had earlier arrested Satpal Kaur, who was allegedly involved in the crime, following a complaint by Neha’s family.Satpal’s husband Vishal Sharma has also accused her of infidelity and alleged that he found incriminating chats on her phone. Police have not detailed her alleged role in Neha’s death.
