Kolkata: The West Bengal Council for Higher Secondary Education has asked schools to submit their suggestions to the task force, formed for exam reforms, including the mode and format of public exams.The Centre formed the task force to receive recommendations from educational stakeholders for public exams. The areas that the Centre is looking to address include security system, question paper design, readiness for computer-based testing (CBT), infrastructure and connectivity, psychological readiness and anxiety, accessibility for students with disabilities, multiple exam attempts, calendar, competency-based education and assessment, regional-language requirements, career counselling, teachers’ participation in setting questions, using schools as centres, using computer labs for practice and marks weightage.Other boards, including CISCE, too, are working on it.
