US Attorney General Pam Bondi defended the Justice Department’s handling of the Jeffrey Epstein files during a contentious House Judiciary Committee hearing. Lawmakers criticised extensive redactions and pressed Bondi on her refusal to apologise to victims whose personal information was exposed.

With victims seated at the back of the room, the session grew tense, marked by sharp exchanges and even a Democratic lawmakers walking out.
