How the brutal murder of a Delhi professor was solved and surprised investigators

Delhi University assistant professor Debosmita Paul was found murdered in her residence in the Vasundhara Enclave area on June 4. The 42-year-old last spoke with her mother, who lived nearby, just a day earlier. Her sister Devarati called the police on June 4 after she discovered Paul’s body in the apartment.
“Devarati had been trying to contact Debosmita throughout the day, but her calls went unanswered,” a senior police officer said.
