Ajmer: The district court administration Friday received a threat to bomb the new building of the district and sessions court. The email said that at 1.10pm there would be a blast in the court building. The court premises were vacated and a massive search was carried out.This was the second threat to blast the court building.

Meanwhile, five threats were already made to blast other buildings such as the district collectorate and Ajmer dargah previously. The Bar Association of Ajmer is on strike these days. Secretary of the Bar Roopendra Parihar said that they were receiving regular threats, but the police was unable to trace such anti-social elements.CO Ajmer North Shivam Sharma said that an email was received by the court administration, and they informed the district police. As per the protocol, the premises were vacated and a search was carried out. The dog squad, anti-bomb squad, ATS, and district police carried out the search, while asking the litigants, staff, and judicial officials to leave the court premises. There are five floors in the new building, which were vacated, and a search was carried out on each floor.After the massive search, police said that nothing was found and registered an FIR against an unknown person.
