Reacting to Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation, West Bengal Minister Dilip Ghosh said the government is committed to taking everyone along on the path of development and resolving issues through dialogue. Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma said Pradhan had contributed significantly to Assam, including helping establish the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) in the state and playing a key role in implementing the National Education Policy (NEP). While Madhya Pradesh Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya praised Pradhan for his honesty and dedication, saying he resigned immediately after the party decided he should step down. Vijayvargiya also claimed that Pradhan’s resignation had thwarted the plans of “foreign forces” seeking to incite violence in India.
