Nagpur: A question raised by Congress corporator Shailendra Dorle over the civic body’s educational Warkari Dindi triggered a heated exchange during the general body meeting of Nagpur Municipal Corporation.Education committee chairperson Santoshdevi Laddha responded to the issue with a speech in Hindi, drawing criticism from some members.Congress corporator Wasim Khan then sought mayor Neeta Thakre’s permission to speak in Hindi, which was granted. However, some members from the ruling benches insisted that he speak in Marathi.This led to Congress corporator Abhijit Jha taking an aggressive stand, with ruling party members also reacting sharply. The disagreement soon escalated into a verbal duel between members of the two sides.
