Rajkot: Manager of a healthcare comapany lost his life in a hit-and-run accident on Monday morning near Ganesh Chowk on Mavdi Kankot Road. Sanjay Kalaria (65), resident of Jivraj Park was riding his motorbike to work when he was struck by a speeding car around 8:00am.He sustained severe injuries and was rushed to Civil Hospital, where doctors declared him dead. The driver fled the scene, but police recovered the vehicle’s registration number. A board reading “Chairman APMC Rajkot” was reportedly seen on the car’s dashboard.The Rajkot City Taluka police have filed a formal complaint and are reviewing CCTV footage from the area to track down the driver. Kalaria is survived by his wife, two daughters, and a son.
