T’puram: The health condition of former chief minister V S Achuthanandan continues to be critical and he is fully on a life support system. A team of experts from the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital visited him on Monday.A medical bulletin issued by the private hospital in the state capital where he has been undergoing treatment since last Monday, said VS is on ventilator support and efforts are being made to improve vital statistics, including blood pressure and kidney function. He is also undergoing dialysis.VS was admitted to the hospital after he suffered a heart attack. Although he showed signs of improvement and was responding to the medicines, the ventilator support was not removed.
