Hyderabad: BRS general secretary RS Praveen Kumar welcomed the Telangana high court’s order directing the govt to remove the HYDRAA commissioner. Reacting to the decision, he alleged that chief minister A Revanth Reddy had set up HYDRAA through GO 99 within a month of coming to power to target the homes of the poor.He said the excesses committed by HYDRAA were countless and that the 63 contempt of court cases filed against the HYDRAA commissioner reflected the govt’s brutality. “HYDRAA’s record of abuses in Lothkunta, Bahadur Guda and Ameenpur is extensive. The court’s decision is a slap on the face of the govt,” he said.
