‘Hanuman Ansh’, the devotional drama directed by Vishal Chaturvedi, is holding steady at the box office, and filmmaker Aditya Dhar has now backed the film publicly. Sharing a poster featuring lead actor Shobhinaw Satyaa on Instagram, Dhar tagged director Chaturvedi in his post. He kept the caption minimal, using just an Om symbol, folded hands, and a red heart to convey his appreciation. Simple as it was, the gesture has drawn notice, coming as the film sustains its run into its fifth week in theatres.

‘Hanuman Ansh’ creates a new ticket-sale benchmark

Recent ticket-sale numbers show that ‘Hanuman Ansh’ continues to draw solid audiences even weeks into its release. Data froma popular ticket app, shared by the makers, revealed that the film set a new benchmark by becoming the first to cross five lakh ticket sales on its fifth Saturday. It reportedly sold 5.14 lakh tickets that day, outpacing figures previously recorded by hit titles such as Dhurandhar, Chhaava, Mahavatar Narsimha, and Laalo. This adds yet another milestone to the devotional drama’s remarkably long-lasting theatrical run.

‘Hanuman Ansh’ tops fifth Friday collections

The team behind the film also spotlighted its fifth Friday performance. Per the collection rankings they shared, ‘Hanuman Ansh’ reportedly pulled in Rs 12 crore on the day, outperforming Dhurandhar’s Rs 8.50 crore and Chhaava’s Rs 6.50 crore. Further down the list, ‘Stree 2’ and ‘Dhurandhar 2’ reportedly collected Rs 3.25 crore and Rs 2.50 crore, respectively.
