Srinagar, Sep 4: The Haj Committee of India (HCoI) has rescheduled the Computer-Based Test (CBT) for the selection of State Haj Inspectors for Haj-2027 (1448 H) to September 13.

According to a circular issued by the HCoI, the examination, earlier scheduled for September 6, will now be conducted from 11 am to 1 pm on September 13.

The candidates will have to complete the login and verification process between 10:10 am and 11 am, with no login being permitted after 11 am.

The HCoI has also announced a mock test to familiarise candidates with the examination process. The mock test will be available from 3 pm on September 10 to 5 pm on September 11 and candidates have been advised to attempt it within the specified period.

Both the mock test and the actual CBT will be conducted online in human-proctored mode. Candidates can appear from any suitable location, including their homes or offices, but must use a desktop computer or laptop equipped with a webcam and microphone.

The Committee said login credentials, detailed system requirements, the test URL and instructions for both the mock test and CBT would be communicated to eligible candidates through their registered email IDs. SMS notifications would also be sent to their registered mobile numbers.

The HCoI has asked all State and Union Territory Haj Committees to give wide publicity to the revised schedule so that all eligible candidates are duly informed and adequately prepared.

The selection process for State Haj Inspectors is part of the preparations for Haj-2027. The HCI had invited applications from eligible permanent government employees for the posts through its August 11 circular.
