New Delhi: A 24-year-old gym trainer from Jaipur has been arrested for allegedly supplying stolen luxury cars to clients on demand.The accused, identified as Mohammad Ashraf Khan, a graduate and fitness trainer, was apprehended from Jaipur’s Jhotwara area following a tip-off about a stolen car traced to Rajasthan. Police said the vehicles had been stolen from north Delhi’s Mukherjee Nagar area in separate cases registered through e-FIRs.Acting on the input, a police team from crime branch reached Jaipur and conducted a raid with the assistance of local authorities, leading to Khan’s arrest from his residence on April 7. During the operation, two vehicles were recovered with a temporary registration number.Investigators said Khan procured stolen vehicles from a supplier identified as Shakeel and would offer them to clients at significantly lower prices. Police added that he used the luxury cars to impress his gym clients and build credibility while pitching such deals.
