Gurgaon: Gurugram University has started the online admission process for its undergraduate programmes for the 2026-27 session. Students can apply for their chosen courses on the university’s website till May 30.For the new academic session, the university is offering around 670 seats across 15 undergraduate and postgraduate courses under the National Education Policy 2020 framework.A university official said the courses are aimed at offering students more industry-oriented and skill-based programmes in emerging sectors. Some of the courses available for admissions are Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT), Bachelor of Management Studies (Industry Integrated-Travel and Tourism),BSc Animation and Multimedia, integrated MA Journalism and Mass Communication, BA Yoga, and BSc (Hons) Clinical Psychology approved by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).Vice-Chancellor Sanjay Kaushik said the university has planned the courses considering the changing industry requirements. “Connecting the new generation with skills and innovation is our priority. Employment-oriented education will help students become professionally competent and industry-ready,” he said. He added that the university remains committed to improving the quality of higher education while introducing programmes aligned with future career opportunities.The university has also announced the launch of six new professional courses before the upcoming session. These include integrated MSc Life Sciences, BSc Mathematics and Data Science, MSc Forensic Science, Executive MBA, BCom (Global), and MSc Quantum Technology.According to university authorities, the newly introduced programmes will have an intake ranging between 20 and 60 seats. The university said these courses will combine theoretical learning with practical and research-oriented exposure.The VC also announced that Gurugram University plans to introduce more employment-linked and technology-driven programmes in the coming years as part of its academic expansion strategy.
