Gurgaon: The city recorded a maximum temperature of 26.4°C on Friday, 0.6°C higher than Thursday, according to India Meteorological Department (IMD).The minimum temperature was 13°C, slightly higher than the previous day, keeping nights cool. IMD data showed that average maximum temperatures across Haryana increased by 1.4°C compared with Thursday and were 2.3°C above normal.

Palwal was the hottest district at 29.9°C, followed by Charkhi Dadri at 27.5°C and Rohtak at 25.3°C. Several NCR districts, including Faridabad and Rohtak, reported above-normal daytime temperatures.Minimum temperatures across Haryana rose by an average of 0.7°C but remained largely within the normal range. No rainfall was reported in the city or elsewhere in the state in the past 24 hours.The weather office reported dense to very dense fog in parts of Haryana. Very dense fog was recorded in Narnaul, while dense fog was observed in isolated areas. This led to low visibility in the early morning, particularly in south Haryana.Meteorologists said the pattern of warm afternoons and cool nights is likely to continue. No weather system is expected to bring rainfall to Gurgaon or the rest of the state in the coming days.
