GURGAON: A 25-year-old woman was allegedly drugged and gang-raped by two men, including a police head constable, in a hotel in DLF Phase-2 after being promised a govt job. An FIR was registered on Wednesday against the two at the DLF Phase-2 police station.According to the complaint, the woman, a widow and a resident of Delhi, first met the head constable, Satish Kumar, on a DTC bus about six months ago. He introduced himself as a Haryana Police personnel and claimed that his wife was a judge in Palwal with political connections. He later offered to help her get a job as a cook in the police department under the widow quota.After gaining her trust through regular communication, Satish allegedly called her to Gurgaon on July 29, 2025, and asked her to bring her educational documents. He picked her up in his car and took her to a hotel in DLF Phase 2, claiming that he owned the property.At the hotel, the woman found another man, identified as Lambu Khan, in the room. The FIR states that the accused offered her tea, which was allegedly spiked, making her drowsy. When she tried to leave, the two allegedly raped her. The victim also claimed that the accused filmed the assault.She further alleged that Satish told her that his associate was involved in several criminal cases, including murder, rape, cyber fraud, and robbery.After she approached the Delhi Cantt police station, a Zero FIR was registered on Feb 1 under sections 70(1) (gang rape), 123 (causing hurt by administering poison), and 3(5) (act done by several persons) of the BNS. The case was later transferred to the DLF Phase-2 police station as the incident occurred in Gurgaon. Officials said further action will be taken based on the investigation.(The victim’s identity has not been revealed to protect her privacy as per Supreme court directives on cases related to sexual assault)
