Gumla: A six-year-old boy was allegedly murdered and thrown into a well at a paddy field in Kasira village under Sadar police station of Gumla on Friday. Police on Saturday recovered the body and also arrested the accused. The deceased was identified as Anmol Khadia, son of Tintiya Khadia.Police said that the accused, Kulbhushan Mahli (35) of the same village, lured the kid of getting him juice from a shop on Friday evening. On Saturday, the child’s body was found.Officer in-charge of Sadar police station, Mahendra Karmali said that based on the statement of family members, Mahli was arrested. “The accused suspected that the boy’s father was in an illicit relationship with his wife, which led to the murder,” he said.
