Vadodara: The Gujarat president of Lok Janshakti Party (LJP), Ashish Patel, said his associate received a threatening phone call from a member of the Bishnoi gang. Patel wrote a letter to the Gujarat DGP demanding security for himself and his family.Patel said that the Gujarat general secretary of LJP, Anil Patel, got a call from a man who introduced himself as Sandip Singh alias Sandy on Oct 24. The caller said that he will finish off Ashish Patel. Anil immediately called Ashish Patel and told him what had happened. The latter subsequently sought help from the police.
