Gandhinagar: The state govt said on Wednesday that farmers can register online from Feb 13 to sell mustard and chickpeas at support prices. State agriculture minister Jitu Vaghani said that applications will be received on the e-Samruddhi portal from Feb 13 to March 5. The Union govt set the support price for chickpeas at Rs 5,875 per quintal and for mustard at Rs 6,200 per quintal. Vaghani said purchases will be made considering the total cultivation area and production.Urging all farmers to register online to get a fair price for their produce, the minister said Aadhaar verification will be mandatory when registering to sell produce at support prices.
