Gandhinagar: Gujarat govt has taken another step towards preparations for the 2030 Commonwealth Games, with deputy chief minister Harsh Sanghavi stating that a meeting of the proposed board of directors of the Games’ organising company was held to discuss the roadmap, planning and coordination required to stage the international event.In a post on X, Sanghavi said the meeting marked “a significant step towards bringing the Commonwealth Games 2030 to Gujarat”.“Attended the meeting of the proposed board of directors of the organising company to discuss the roadmap, planning, and collaborative efforts required for hosting this prestigious global sporting event,” he wrote. He added: “Together, we move towards creating world-class sporting infrastructure and opportunities for athletes.”
