The university recently conducted its week-long Corporate Skill Development Programme (CSDP)-2026 programme

Vadodara: More than 1,000 final-year students at GSFC University are undergoing intensive training designed to bridge the gap between classroom learning and workplace expectations, with artificial intelligence (AI) being used to identify and address individual skill gaps. The university recently conducted its week-long Corporate Skill Development Programme (CSDP)-2026 for students of the 2027 graduating batch across various disciplines.Organised by the university’s placement cell, the programme brought together 10 domain experts who provided 60 hours of training to each student.A key feature of this year’s programme is its assessment-driven and AI-enabled approach. The initiative began with a preliminary assessment of students in three key areas — quantitative aptitude, communication skills and logical reasoning. The assessment helped identify individual areas for improvement, enabling the training to be tailored to students’ specific needs. The programme is aimed at strengthening the competencies students will require as they transition from university to professional life. Along with skill enhancement, the initiative seeks to integrate academic learning, industry interaction and placement preparedness. The university said the programme reflects its broader focus on being “student-centric, industry-aligned and future-ready”, with employability and experiential learning forming an integral part of its academic ecosystem. The initiative also aligns with the growing emphasis on technology-enabled education and the development of a skilled, employable workforce. By combining structured assessments, expert-led training and AI-enabled interventions, GSFC University aims to strengthen the industry-academia connect and better prepare students for the demands of the modern workplace.
