TNNNew Delhi: Delhi govt has announced that it will provide infrastructure, grants and other resources to help students transform innovative ideas into practical solutions and encourage them to become job creators rather than job seekers.The announcement was made at the finale of a tech bootcamp at IIIT Delhi, where students from CM SHRI Schools showcased technology-based projects and working prototypes designed to address real-life challenges. Officials said promising student ideas would be incubated and students will be helped to scale them to national and global platformsTechnology-driven projects aimed at solving everyday problems took centre stage at the grand finale of the Tech4Future – future makers innovators bootcamp, where students presented working prototypes before educators, experts and policymakers over the weekend.Following the presentations, Delhi govt announced a series of measures to help students transform their ideas into practical innovations.Addressing the gathering, education minister Ashish Sood said, “We want to give you the best infrastructure and incubate your ideas. It is my responsibility to bring you the resources you need. Don’t worry about resources, only make your vision bigger.”Officials said the initiative is part of a larger effort to strengthen innovation and entrepreneurship in govt schools. Govt also plans to expand robotics laboratories and smart classrooms across schools.Sood emphasised the need to cultivate scientific thinking among students and encourage them to approach problems with curiosity and creativity.Students were encouraged to keep experimenting, embrace failure as part of the learning process and continue developing solutions that address social and technological challenges. According to officials, the objective is to build an ecosystem where young innovators receive sustained academic, technical and institutional support to transform promising ideas into impactful products and enterprises.
