Dhanbad: Jharkhand governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar on Monday inaugurated IInvenTiv 2026 at IIT (ISM) Dhanbad. Describing the event as a transformative platform, Gangwar said innovations in sectors such as artificial intelligence, healthcare, semiconductors and materials must translate into real-world impact. Referring to initiatives like Atmanirbhar Bharat and National Education Policy 2020, Gangwar urgedThe inaugural session was attended by Athar Shahab, managing director of Zuari Industries Ltd, National Health Authority CEO Sunil Kumar Barnwal and several other entrepreneurs who stressed on the need for innovation-led growth, sustainability and deeper industry-academia collaboration.Welcoming the gathering, Sukumar Mishra, director, IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, said the platform is designed to bring together academia, industry, startups and investors to ensure innovations move from laboratories to global markets. He said IInvenTiv 2026 will play a key role in preparing Indian innovations for global showcase at Bharat Innovates 2026.
