Kanpur: A 19-year-old youth has been arrested for allegedly recording and storing child sexual abuse material after Google flagged objectionable videos in his Google Drive and alerted authorities.Acting on a tip-off received through the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal, the Central Zone Cyber Cell traced the accused, a Chaman Ganj resident, using his mobile IMEI number and IP address provided by Google.Police said the high school pass-out, who works selling children’s diapers, had allegedly recorded objectionable videos of his minor cousin sisters and other girls in the neighbourhood.Police said they are now probing whether the videos were further circulated or uploaded on other platforms.
