Udupi: Gold ornaments weighing approximately 320g valued at Rs 30 lakh, were stolen from a residence in Mavinakatte, Kailkeri, located in Molahalli village under the Kundapura taluk.According to the complaint filed by Bharati, she had placed her gold ornaments inside an almirah at her house after returning from a wedding ceremony on June 1. On July 27, when the complainant unlocked the almirah to retrieve the ornaments, she noticed they were missing from their usual spot. Despite searching the entire house, the missing items could not be found.Kota Police have registered a case under Sections 331(3), 331(4), and 305 of the BNS, and further investigation is underway.
