Ahmedabad: The Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC) raised the land allotment prices for industrial estates across the state by 15% for 2026-27, according to industry sources. The revised prices came into effect from Aug and will apply across key manufacturing and logistics clusters in Gujarat.The updated price schedule covers major industrial hubs including Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Vadodara, Surat, Rajkot, Bharuch, Jamnagar and Kachchh, along with estates in several other districts. GIDC has fixed the new rates on a per-square-metre basis.Beyond fresh allotments, the revised rates are also set to be factored into related charges under the corporation’s policies, including fees for plot transfers and penalties levied for non-utilisation of allotted land.
