Garhwa: Taking cognizance of the tip-off received by Garhwa DC Ananya Mittal that gas cylinder are being sold in black market, Sadar SDO Sanjay Kumar conducted a raid in a semi-constructed building in Sonpurwa locality of the town on Monday evening and recovered 13 LPG cylinders.“When queried, no satisfactory response was given by operator Jay Krishna, who ran a gas stove repair shop. All cylinders belonged to Indane gas,” the SDO said.Sources said that Krishna told the SDO that he worked as a delivery person for Indane, but when the official contacted the agency to verify, they denied. The SDO further said that they have sealed the building and instructed the agency for verification of the recovered cylinders. “Further process has been initiated against the owner of the building,” the SDO added.
