Prayagraj: Continuing its crackdown on gangsters in Prayagraj, police on Sunday attached properties worth Rs 15 crore owned by Naeem alias Nazme Alam alias Mohd Nabbe.According to police, the properties, located in Mauja Mohiuddinpur were allegedly acquired through illegal means and were attached under the provisions of the Gangsters Act.Police officials said the properties are spread across 1282.5 sq m and are valued at Rs 15 crore.A senior police officer told TOI that Nabbe, a resident of Mubaraqpur, and his gang were involved in stealing vehicles, tampering with their engine and chassis numbers, changing number plates, preparing forged documents and selling the vehicles to make illegal profits. He added that seven criminal cases were pending against Nabbe at different police stations.
