New Delhi: Three men who allegedly posed as beggars to steal from unsuspecting commuters at traffic signals in south Delhi have been arrested by Delhi Police. The accused — Arjun Nath (25), Toofan Nath (24), and Chand Nath (26) — were traced and apprehended nearly three weeks after they allegedly stole a gold ring from a motorist.According to police, the complainant — a 30-year-old resident of Faridabad — was waiting at a traffic signal on August Kranti Marg on June 5 when the trio approached his car. He gave them Rs 20, and while they distracted him in conversation, one of them allegedly removed his gold ring without his notice. The victim filed an e-FIR and a case was registered. Based on CCTV footage, the suspects were traced and arrested. The stolen gold ring was recovered, police said. TNN
