Nagpur: The digestive care special issue of magazine ‘Swasthya Vatika’ was released by Union minister Nitin Gadkari. The special issue focuses on digestive health and ayurvedic treatments for various stomach-related issues.Dr GM Mamtani, the editor, stated that the modern diet and lack of self-control have led to an increase in digestive problems. The issue covers topics such as irritable bowel syndrome, fatty liver, hepatitis, and constipation, providing simple and effective remedies. Gadkari praised Dr Mamtaani and his wife for their 35 years of dedication to promoting ayurveda. The magazine, now 20 years old with 69 issues published, aims to educate readers on maintaining digestive health through ayurvedic herbs, yoga, and panchakarma.The issue also explores the connection between the gut and brain, doctor’s kitchen, and microbiome. This special edition is expected to benefit readers seeking natural solutions for digestive issues.
